This is a little bit overdue but last July, I hosted a #TanyaGomen (organised by the Economic Transformation Programme) talk show with Higher Education Minister, Datuk Seri Idris Jusoh, and we discussed about the state of Malaysia’s education system.

As almost everyone is aware, there has been a lot of talk that we are not doing too good in that area and we talked about all the issues that have been brought up, from the lack of English skills, the marketability of our graduates, to how bad our universities are ranked internationally.
