Twitter for a Nobel Peace Prize?? Really?? Come on!!

Nobel Prizes for Twitter, Facebook and YouTube… not!

FEB 11 — My wife was hogging the TV, watching an endless marathon of Parenthood one evening so I was relegated to the Internet for my entertainment. I decided to search for Fasha Sandha’s pictures online after a Malay tabloid reported that she had worn a bikini in Bali.

Then I stumbled upon an article which captured my interest. The article talked about how the world is now in the midst of a Social Media Revolution. The article went on to state that a former US national security advisor, Mark Pfeifle, had called for Twitter to be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.

“Really?” I thought to myself. A revolution, I would agree. But a Social Media Revolution? Are we taking things a bit too far? [Click to read the rest of the article at The Malaysian Insider]
