Feminist or not, I just found all the jokes and references so real and true, from all the women stereotypes to the jokes making fun of men.
What does it really mean when we talk about having a different brand of democracy or governance in Malaysia?
It must not become a tool that can be abused by those in power, just like how so many laws from yesteryears had become.

I’ll take the approach of saying that the entire thing is all the result of the socio-economic problem of our country, more specifically, the lack of social and economic equality among Malaysians.
Muda still needs to be aware of the fact that to win, they need to appeal to all voters.
It is not about big national issues.
If Dian Lee is stopped from even contesting and offering herself as a candidate, then how would we know if the people are okay with her or not since it wouldn’t be reflected in a vote?
To be honest, it has become very cliched with almost everyone trying to emulate the Yasmin style. But every once in a while, there will be a gem or two that grabs everyone’s attention.
