Rules and Regulations:
- Each entry should be between 3-5 minutes long (not exceeding 5 minutes).
- Each entry must be original (previously unreleased) and non-fiction.
- Each participant must still comply with the MCO regulations. This competition is not a permit to break the MCO regulations.
- Each entry must be submitted as a downloadable Google Drive link to fatbidin@gmail.com. Entries must also include a list of credits (if any). Please provide full name of the director (or main participant) and contact details (phone number and email address).
- If the film is not in Bahasa Malaysia or English, please subtitle it in Bahasa Malaysia or English.
- Entries will be posted on Fat Bidin’s Youtube channel under a COVID-19 Mini Docs playlist for public viewing.
- Fat Bidin reserves the right to use any part of any entry for promotional purposes (trailers, teasers, etc.) The copyright of the film however will still remain with the filmmaker(s).
- All legal releases (eg: talent release, music release, location release, etc) shall be the responsibility of the filmmaker(s) and Fat Bidin will not be liable.
- Deadline for submission is 31st of May 2020.
Guest judges (whose secret identities will be announced continuously!) will judge the entries as they come in and submit their top three. The winners will be announced on all Fat Bidin Media platforms.
Prizes:
First prize – RM1,000 & a signed collection of books under Fat Bidin.
2nd and 3rd runner ups will receive a signed collection of books under Fat Bidin as well.
Winners will also stand a chance to be featured on BERNAMA.com’s platform.
