I completely agree that Roma is way better than Black Panther and I just wish that Malaysians are more exposed to quality cinema that is readily available online/netflix. Films such as The Florida Project dir. Sean Baker are crucial for us not just in the artistic aspect but also for how it affects the way we see life. The film follows young Moonee and her friends in a life of poverty in Florida with the juxtaposition to the money making factory that is Disneyworld. The lenses are seen through her child wonder eyes and shows only of the ‘ fun stuff ‘ while horrible poverty consequences happens in the background. This film teaches us to be understanding.
