A rose by any other name would smell as sweet

Call me murtad (apostate), I don’t care. Call me syirik (polytheist), I don’t care. Heavy accusations in Islam, these two. I hope the accusers have the necessary proof, evidence and criteria to do so. I, an official Muslim, hereby publicly declare that I have no problems with other religions aside from Islam using the word Allah to refer to God.
Most of the times when I write my column, it is to address a readership that is as wide and as general as possible without targeting too specific a group. But this week, I am writing to Muslims in particular (err, but if you are an infidel, you can still continue reading!), and especially Malay Muslims.
As Muslims, we are obligated to believe in the existence of the prophets and this includes the prophet Jesus, who brought to the world Christianity, and even Moses who brought Judaism. As a Muslim, we are also obligated to believe in the existence of the holy books and this includes the Bible which taught Christianity and the Torah which taught Judaism.
And, when we believe in all this, we also have to believe that all Abrahamic religions come from one God, and in Arabic (the main language of Islam’s Quran) the word is Allah. So, when an argument is made that Christianity and Islam are two different religions, no one can deny it. It’s true. These are two different religions.
But when it comes to God, both these different religions refer to the same God. A rose by any other name would smell as sweet (oh crap, did I just objectify God as a rose?). [Click to read the full article at The Malaysian Insider]
Bro, it wasn’t Jesus or Nabi Isa Alaihissalam who was on the crucifix. It was Judas who Allah made him look like Jesus when Judas emerged from the meeting with Jesus and his disciples and later crucified.
Jesus didn’t bring Christianity to the world bro. It was created by those who refused to believe in the coming of the seal of the prophets Muhammad Sallallahu’alaihissalam.
The council of Nicea, under influence of these satanic agents, burned thousands of gospels & scriptures that stated that after Jesus, Allah will send his beloved Muhammad as a prophet to guide mankind.
Jesus didn’t create Christianity bro. He also didn’t create the “Holy Trinity” bro. He is the prophet of Allah and one of the Ulul-Azmis, who under supreme difficulties brought upon by his detractors, led thousands or millions of people to believe in one God.
Christianity is a man-made religion.
The Vatican and the popes are riddled with controversies and atrocities. I’m sure you are aware of this.
The Bible being used by the Christians now is flawed. It was amended to suit the creator/s of Christianity.
Jesus will one day correct this. As Muslims we must believe in his second coming where he will descend in Sham, post Armageddon and amidst great calamities brought upon the accursed Dajal.
Wallahualam and may Allah guide us and bless us all.
Thank you.
Barnabas.

Bro,while I generally agree with this post , but i think you got it wrong in one minor, but crucial part in our faith.
“As Muslims, we are obligated to believe in the existence of the prophets and this includes the prophet Jesus, who brought to the world Christianity, and even Moses who brought Judaism.” – Zan Azlee.
Actually ,Jesus ‘alaihissalam and Moses ‘alaihissalam did not bring the world Christianity and Judaism ,but they preach the same message that Nabi Muhammad sallallahu’alaihi wasallam preach, which is Islam.
Christianity and Judaism arise due to the corruption of the people after Jesus a.s and Moses a.s are gone ,they alter the prophets teaching to suits their nafs ( desire ) .
“And [remember] when I inspired to the disciples, “Believe in Me and in My messenger Jesus.” They said, “We have believed, so bear witness that indeed we are Muslims [in submission to Allah ].” ( Al- Maidah chapter 5 verse111)
“But when Jesus felt [persistence in] disbelief from them, he said, “Who are my supporters for [the cause of] Allah ?” The disciples said,” We are supporters for Allah . We have believed in Allah and testify that we are Muslims [submitting to Him].”( Ali ‘Imran chapter 3 verse 52)
“And strive for Allah with the striving due to Him. He has chosen you and has not placed upon you in the religion any difficulty. [It is] the religion of your father, Abraham. Allah named you “Muslims” before [in former scriptures] and in this [revelation] that the Messenger may be a witness over you and you may be witnesses over the people…..” ( AlHajj chapter 22 verse 78)
Wallahu’alam.
Peace 🙂 May Allah bless you.
