Ridhuan Tee does it again!
By Zan Azlee
JULY 27 — My beef with Ridhuan Tee began a few years ago when I first started reading his writing and listening to him speak in public about Islam. I have to say that I although I don’t agree with almost everything that this man utters, I still subscribe to the belief that I will defend to the death his right to say it. And when I say that, I also hope that my right to express my disagreement with him will be defended by the man himself. How else can we enter a discourse, right?
Anyway, my beef with him has grown thanks to his recent rant at the launch of his books “Masih Adakah Ketuanan Melayu?” and “Cabaran Saudara Baharu di Malaysia”. I have yet to read them, but trust me, I definitely will. But what he said during the launch, which was reported by the media, was enough to ruffle my feathers. I do like what you write but this time I must say your innocence for want of a better word has left me with an after taste of disappointment. The issue is not what the ‘gentleman’ in question says or does, but the very fact that in this land we have the definition of a race enshrined in the constitution which clearly states that one who does belong to this group professes a certain religion and habitually speaks a certain language, clearly then leaves the gates open to any a parasitic-shameless-kacang-lupakan-kulit (literally) to seize the opportunity and claim to be one of the chosen. You are looking at the symptom, not the cause.

I can’t see this Ridwan Tee as an ideal model of Islamic umat or scholar. What is he fighting for is only in order to justify his selfish nature. He will do whatever he can just to certify his cruel motive to become a malay’s superemacy leader. As a moslem I would like to advise every moslem brother and sister, not to be influenced by him. Dont let ourselves to be cow and fooled by another mamak’s monkey.
