Again… I write about my daughter in my column for The Malaysian Insider! Ho hum!
Help! My baby stares at the ceiling fan all day.

MAY 6 — Being the more intellectual one in the family, I took it upon myself to develop my two-month-old daughter Athena’s mind. If I were to leave it to my wife, my daughter would grow up dreaming of being a princess, wear pink and shop at Starhill all day!
To encourage her to love books and reading just the way I do, I decked her nursery with all the children’s books that I grew up with. I started reading the Dr Seuss and Ladybird collection to her from the day she got home. And to add a contemporary flavour, also a bit of Ricky Gervais’s Flanimals.
She’s usually pretty responsive… for the first five seconds! Then she starts writhing around, cries and tries to suck my nipples. I have yet to finish a whole book with her. [click to read the full article at The Malaysian Insider]
