My film KAMPUNG BARU ALAF BARU (NEW AGE NEW VILLAGE) was recently repeated on ntv7 (I’m sure due to popular demand!) after its original broadcast during August/September last year. And what a miraculous coincidence that I’m also serialising it on FATBIDIN.TV!!!

When @sherilabustaman and I asked Athena what she wanted for her birthday, she said the @newjeans_official collectors edition box set. Ughh! I cannot stand K-Pop! But then, I have always been the cool Pops who is always open to everything. So we said yes and we ordered it for her. It arrived from Seoul yesterday! She’s happy, and anyway, like what Uncle Dave said, “My mum let me listen to anything I wanted when I was a kid and it’s made me who I am today. So I’ll let my daughters listen to whatever the fuck they want too!”. But whatever it is, your favourite band is still @weezer, right @athenax.a? RIGHT?? #TheBustAzlees #TheBustAzleeMafakas

Journalist and documentary filmmaker, Zan Azlee, spends several weeks in Kutupalong, Bangladesh. It is the world’s largest refugee camp, housing close to a million displaced Rohingya. He catches a glimpse of life in the camp through the residents, assists a group of medical volunteers there, and even heads to the border and witnesses a group of several hundred Rohingya pleading for refuge who have just crossed the border from Myanmar.
