Seeing as Umno is the biggest component party in BN and that, by default, the BN chairman and Umno president is also the country’s prime minister, the MACC’s reminder is essentially directed at the government and its leaders.
Politicians must simply learn to digest this reality or forget their political aspirations altogether. All this comes with their willingness to be honest.
At the end of the day, reality will set in – if we are living hand to mouth, and God forbid something happens, like a car accident or a hospital visit, and we can’t find the funds to fix it, intrinsic motivators do not mean much.
Ideas that challenge and contradict other faiths have even more reason not to be banned. The diverse views allow people of different beliefs to come together and accept each other, without trying to persuade or influence others.
