MARCH 18 — I believe in gender equality and consider myself a strong advocate for women’s rights; whatever men can do, women can definitely do too. That’s why whenever my wife and I go grocery-shopping, I make sure she also has to carry the bags with the heavy bottles of detergents and tin cans. That’s also why whenever we go out, I never hold the door open for her since it would be too insulting to infer that she needed help opening the door.
